2 injured in an Earthquake in Davao City

Two women were injured when a 4.6 magnitude earthquake hit Davao City today (February 23).

The two women were standing under a waiting shed outside Palma Gil Elementary School in Quirino Street when it crumbled and fell after the ground shook.

This woman got injured after the waiting shed where she was standing under fell because of the earthquake.

The 911 response team rushed to the area and took the women to the Southern Philippines Medical Center to be treated.

The tectonic earthquake, which hit the city at at 9:50 AM, has an epicenter at 7.12 degrees north, 125.56 degrees east, 42 degrees west, -009 kilometers north, of Davao City.
